Inspired by the “mapping” qualities of Mehretu’s work, a logo was developed that echoed traditional map typography. Produced for the show: Title logo, introductory panels for two entrances, gallery summary panels, extended object labels, tombstone labels, educational panels made of 3-D plexi-glass in two colors, a take-away brochure and marketing materials.

Your DIA: Monthly Members’ MagazineMagazine and Calendar re-design>After carefully considering the information received in a reader’s poll, the DIA’s monthly magazine was re-designed to better suit the patrons’ needs. The orientation was changed from horizontal to vertical, and an emphasis was placed on photography and larger text for legibility. The calendar was expanded to include all activities available on a given day, as opposed to the former design which broke them into three sections.
